I feel a strange pull - up above us, on the ground, there are a lot of people doing math and solving puzzles.  I feel my number being written down over and over again; I hear talking about me.  It's not all coming from the direction of the hall...I must investigate.

3 was right!  There are many strangers on campus all of a sudden - short strangers wearing funny shirts. Look at them outside talking about numbers and going everywhere.  We have never investigated beyond this book and the odd sneak into the lecture hall...I wonder if we could...
